Hello, Everyone! Yes, today’s goal is to overwhelm you with cuteness. We just wanted to share some school photos from this past school year and (at the bottom of this post) show you some of our incoming students. This week, let’s focus on praying for the students at SHIP’s school, Colegio Le Luz de Jesús. Here’s what we’re praying about: Our school is growing. In 2019 we opened our doors to fewer than 30 students (Kinder-4 and Kinder-5). In January, over 70 students will be enrolled at our little school. Please pray for us as we grow. It’s exciting to expand and offer another grade level, but that means more students and more families to serve; more students needing sponsors; more responsibilities for us all. Pray for our first graders. Because we weren’t an accredited school at the beginning of the school year, all of our first graders have to be tested on what they’ve learned over the past year. The test is January 21, and we’ll remind everyone about it closer to that date. But just be praying for them over this break from school. Pray for our little ones who will be starting school for the first time this January. You can see some of them below, and we think they have the sweetest little faces we’ve ever seen. Starting school is a big step, and we just pray that God will give them the peace and calm they need. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us in prayer each week! |
We’d like to introduce you to some of our newest scholars at SHIP’s school, Colegio La Luz de Jesús. These little ones will begin school with us in January. We’re so excited to welcome them to the SHIP family! |
