Sometimes you have no idea what you’re doing, even when what you’re doing is constructing a building. We’ve built lots of homes and buildings, and, of course, we always have a plan before we start. But, in the case of our classroom building, we didn’t completely know what we were doing.
The original plan was to construct a building with three levels of classrooms. But, when we got to the top floor, we realized that putting classrooms there would block our beautiful view.

As we left that floor open, we started using it. It became the perfect place to host large groups. It was open and allowed a nice breeze; we could fit hundreds of people in one space. This space has served as a place for weddings, quinces, school presentations, and graduations. It’s been used for Bible studies and outreach services. Each week it’s an indoor soccer pitch for our students and for local teams. It’s where our classes have PE and where they come to hang out after school.

The third floor of this building is like all of us at Bright Hill Collective. None of us had a plan to be used in the ways that God has used us, but over time we’ve let Him show us all that we’re capable of doing when He leads. Did we expect that God would use us to start a school in a country we’d never been to? Not at all. But now that we’re here, we’re in awe of the view God shows us.
